• A task force of city of Loveland officials suggested moving the Fourth of July fireworks and celebration from North Lake Park to The Ranch, citing public safety reasons due to the growth of the event. They said that North Lake Park was too small to safely handle the size of crowds that gather. •  A propane tank that exploded and shot into the Red Feather Lakes Property Owners Association building sparked a wildfire that burned two cabins and led to 367 people being evacuated. • Students at Mountain View High School staged 'A Christmas Carol' with a cast of 35 people and a crew of 20.
